Brent enjoyed 10 years of endless winter while ski racing for NZ, here and in North America. He decided it was time to balance the seasons so he spent the next 6 years in perpetual summer as a white water raft guide in NZ, Auz, Switzerland, and Nepal. Finally it seemed time to get a little serious so he studied at Canterbury University obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce in 2000 (Major in Computer Science), where he met his wife. Upon graduation they moved to Europe and Brent worked for a large software development company in Germany. He has developed a wide range of software predominantly using Java, .Net, PHP, MySQL and MS SQL. After returning from Germany Brent worked for Hairy Lemon, a website development company based in Christchurch, developing a range of back end software.
